How to apply?
I. If you are not yet registered on the site:
1. click «Apply»;
2. enter your email address — the one you really use regularly;
3. select a section and fill in all the required fields; note that in the field «Keywords / Annotation» («Ключевые слова, аннотация») you should enter the abstract of the report, you do not need to enter keywords;
4. click «Apply» — you will be automatically sent an email with an activation link (which is valid for 24 hours), as well as with a username and password to enter the «My profile»;
5. go to your mail and click on the link in the email you received (now your registration is completed and the application is accepted, about which an additional letter will be sent to the mail);
6. go to your profile and make sure that the application is shown as under consideration.
II. If you are already registered on the site:
1. enter the site with your login and password;
2. click «Apply»;
3. select a section and fill in all the required fields; note that in the field «Keywords / Annotation» («Ключевые слова, аннотация») you should enter the abstract of the report, you do not need to enter keywords;
4. click «Apply» (you will be notified by mail that the application has been accepted);
5. go to the profile and make sure that the application is shown as under consideration;
6. if you attended the conference last year, do not forget that you have become one year older, so go to your profile first to change the year information; please, do not forget to save the changes.
When submitting an application, do not forget to indicate your university, year of study, information about your academic supervisor (a sample is given in the pop-up tip).
Information about the supervisor is entered in the following format: academic degree (if any), position held, initials and surname.
The following abbreviations must be used:
Cand. — cand. sc., doct. sc. — doctor of science, PhD — doctor of philosophy;
philol. — philological (cand. of philol. sc.), hist. — historical, philos. — philosophical, ped. — pedagogical;
ass. — assistant lecturer, lect. — lecturer, senior lect. — senior lecturer, assoc. prof. — associate professor, prof. – professor.
It is not obligatory to attach the consent of the supervisor (a document from which it would follow that your supervisor approves of your intention to report on the relevant topic at the conference).
Once again, we draw your attention to the fact that
after submitting your application, you are supposed to receive a letter by email right away, it will contain a hyperlink that must be activated within 24 hours, after which you must go to your profile and check that your application is in place. Should the letter not arrive or should you forget about it so that the link expires before you click on it, or for some reason you cannot enter your profile, that means your application process did not go as intended . Requirements for "annotation" (abstract) and summary
Abstracts and summaries must be provided. It is on their basis that the program committee of the conference makes acceptance decisions.
Abstracts will be printed in the conference program. The abstract is a coherent text strictly limited to 600 characters (including spaces).
The abstract characterizes the subject, material and result of the research in an extremely concise form.
Attention: the abstract is entered in the «Keywords / Annotation» («Ключевые слова, аннотация») field.
Abstracts of reports included in the conference program are published. After the report is included in the conference program, the abstracts of the reports appear on the conference website in electronic format in the «Structure» section. Polygraphic publication of the collection of abstracts is not provided.
The volume of summaries is strictly limited to 2800 characters (including spaces). The recommended minimum length is 1000 characters (including spaces).
Full duplication of the abstract in the summary text is not allowed.
Summaries are presented in the form of a coherent text. It may have a format of numbered points you want to make. Submission of summaries in the form of a chain of nominative sentences is not allowed.
Summaries are texts in a strictly scientific style. Popular science or essay presentation is not allowed.
The summaries should concisely describe a) objectives, b) material, c) methods and research process, d) research results. Please, include the minimum of the illustrative examples needed.
Basic requirements
for the text of applications
Formatting:
1. no indentation is allowed;
2. empty lines are not allowed;
3. automatic creation of lists is not allowed;
4. the use of the CAPS LOCK mode is not allowed, including in the title of the report;
5. in the title of the report, annotations, abstracts to display non-standard characters, use Unicode characters.

Punctuation marks:
Please, remember that the hyphen and the dash are strictly different signs and should be consistently distinguished, in all cases when you need a dash, use an em dash;
Chevrons (quotation marks of the type «») are used in all cases, including non-Cyrillic quotes;
However, if you need to use quotation marks inside the existing quotation marks, quotation marks of a different pattern should be used: «We all left Gogol's “Overcoat”».
Emphasis in the text:
1. language examples are given in italics without quotation marks;
2. the meaning of words and expressions is given in direct text in the so-called marker quotes (table 'стол');
3. all semantic highlights are given in bold;
4. text underlining is not allowed.
Quotes and bibliography:
1. citing scientific literature is not allowed;
2. when citing other texts, the bibliographic reference is optional; if the author nevertheless considers it necessary to cite it, it is given immediately after the quote as an in-text bibliographic reference to the source, in accordance with ГОСТ 7.0.5.-2008;
3. the list of references is not given.
Names:
1. at the first mention, the name (patronymic) is indicated with the surname with initials; at subsequent mentions, only the surname is given (if the abstract does not mention several people with the same surname);
2. initials are separated from each other and from the surname by spaces;
3. if it is necessary to include in the text information about the years of a person's life, they are given at the first mention in parentheses after the name, separated by em dash without spaces, for example: F. F. Fortunatov (1848—1914);
4. at the first mention of unknown names of foreigners, the years of life and the original spelling of the surname are given in parentheses: (1911—1978, Smith) or (1787—1864, Karaџiћ).
Book titles:
1. titles of books are given in quotation marks;
2. for unknown names of foreign texts the original spelling is given in parentheses to the right of them, and the same type of quotation marks is used for names in Latin letters as for Cyrillic ones: «Повесть о двух городах» («A Tale of Two Cities»).
Abbreviations:
all words and expressions enumerated in this paragraph must be abbreviated, and only the following abbreviations are allowed: cent. (century), i.e. (that is), etc. (and so on), e.g. (for example), approx. (approximately), cf. (compare).
Please, note: a gross violation of the rules for drawing up an abstracts and summaries may be the basis for rejecting your application without considering its content merits.
The rules of the conference are as follows. Student report should last no more than 15 minutes. Questions to the speaker and opinions about the report — 5 minutes.
In some sections, moderators may reduce the speaking time to 10 minutes. In some cases, the discussion of the report is given not 5, but 10 minutes.
